Pain can be described anywhere from mildly uncomfortable to severely debilitating. In any form, it is disruptive to the life of the person experiencing it.

Dr. Geoffrey Jones saw a way to improve the quality of the lives of his patients through pain management, no matter their ethnicity or background. He believes that every patient deserves the highest caliber of care and finds fulfillment in being that relatable doctor who is willing to help any person in need. “I find it rewarding that, through my various interventions, I am able to witness real-time results that reduce and oftentimes eliminate the usage of opioids in many of my patients,” Dr. Jones says.

As a board certified physician in Physical Medicine Rehabilitation with 15 years of experience, Dr. Jones joined APC Health of Tampa in 2015. He treats varied degenerative spinal diseases, arthritis of the neck and back and spinal stenosis. He offers various treatments and procedures that are valuable in mitigating and alleviating patients’ pain. Dr. Jones’ skill levels range from minimally invasive nerve blocks and epidurals to minor surgical procedures such as radiofrequency ablations.

Dr. Jones began his higher education journey by earning his undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University. He was then accepted to the prestigious Meharry Medical College, where he procured his Doctorate of Medicine degree. At William Beaumont Hospital, he completed his residency in Physical and Rehab Medicine and a fellowship in Pain Management. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehab, the Florida Medical Association and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehab.
