Mary Lee’s House offers a community collaboration of government entities, private donors and public agencies, brought together to provide the best protection for the community’s children under one roof. This allows all entities to serve children in a safe, trauma-informed and efficient space with diverse resources and support.

Mary Lee’s House is Hillsborough County’s first Child Advocacy and Protection Center. Before its creation, medical, legal, and mental health providers for abused children were dispersed across the county.

In October 2008, Mary Lee’s House began serving Hillsborough County children, bringing together governmental entities and public agencies for comprehensive child protection in one location.
