SHINE Mural Festival turns 10 this year, and to honor that milestone, we’re highlighting an OG mural from year one: Shark Toof’s “Nature’s Mersey Paradise.” With so many outstanding walls gracing the streets of St. Pete over the last decade, it’s impossible to choose just one as the best, but this beast definitely stands out. Shark Toof has murals from LA to Detroit to NYC, but this one has always been my favorite. Spray-painted in the backstreet behind the Floridian Theater, its massive red presence—about 22 feet tall by 80 feet wide—is hard to miss.
