New Portrait Studio Debuts on N. Florida Avenue
Brittany Elise Photography has transformed an empty 4,500-square-foot space  into a fully renovated portrait studio. Located at 5205 N. Florida Ave., the studio offers a full-service experience designed for busy families, complete with a curated wardrobe boutique, hair and makeup room, flexible studio space and a showroom filled with heirloom artwork.

Fit Couture Collection Opens First Brick-and-Mortar Boutique
Located in SoHo at 404 S. Howard Ave., Fit Couture Collection brings its luxury activewear to a new 1,600-square-foot boutique. Shoppers will find the brand’s signature workout wardrobe staples, along with pre-workout and other supplements, yoga mats and resistance bands. The by-appointment boutique offers a private shopping experience and is set to host catered sip-and-shops for groups, as well as vendor pop-ups.

St. Pete Welcomes New Eateries and Reopens Favorites
Located at 2105 Central Ave., the former home of 2D Cafe, which closed in early 2025, Dads’ Kitchen and Co. serves American and Southern-inspired breakfast and lunch to St. Pete diners. Point Chaud Coffee & Crepês, which opened its first St. Pete location in September at 1101 4th St. S., has expanded with a second outpost at 6805 Gulf Blvd. Jimmy’s Tacos has crossed the bridge to St. Pete, opening a new location at 2536 Central Ave. Friendly Tavern, closed following the 2024 hurricane season, has reopened at 18121 Gulf Blvd. The tavern is known for hosting one of Florida’s longest-running karaoke nights.

Fresh Eats: Tampa’s Latest Dining Openings
Homesick Bagels, a coffee and cafe concept serving authentic New Jersey-style bagels, opened in North Hyde Park. Bosc Modern Bar + Kitchen has taken over Hyde Park’s former Zudar Bourbon St. Bar & Grill building and features hand-cut steaks, scratch-made pasta and fresh seafood. Wright’s Gourmet House opened a 2,900-square-foot satellite location at Tampa General. Saucy! by KFC, a concept centered on chicken tenders and more than a dozen dipping sauces, has opened its first Tampa location at 5706 W. Waters Ave., along with a second venue in Westchase.
