IN ONE WORD, I’D DESCRIBE TAMPA BAY’S FUTURE AS:
“Elevated. Tampa Bay isn’t just growing — it’s evolving.”
Before founding The Performance Lab, Bahir Manios spent more than two decades in private equity, helping build and scale businesses globally. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield Asset Management, a $100 billion company with over $1 trillion in assets under management. After leaving Brookfield in 2024, he co-founded Genesis Financial Asset Management (GFAM), a private equity firm focused on healthcare, financial, and infrastructure investments.
Manios launched The Performance Lab to bridge the gap between medicine and human performance — creating a space where advanced imaging, precision care, and rehabilitation exist under one roof. His mission is to deliver access, clarity, and progress so individuals can return to their best, faster.
His first job as a full-service gas station attendant taught him humility, hard work, and respect — values his father instilled early on. “He taught me that being a good person, respecting others, and leading with integrity are non-negotiable.”
