In 2020, we introduced Best of South Tampa, and the response was nothing short of incredible. Now, as we celebrate its sixth anniversary, some of our newer readers—or those just getting to know Tampa—might ask: Why South Tampa?
The answer lies in the roots of Tampa Magazines itself. South Tampa Magazine, one of our earliest publications, launched in 2005. Beyond that, South Tampa is a heartbeat of the Bay area, offering a dynamic blend of history, culture, dining, shopping, scenic views, and some of the region’s most sought-after real estate.
HOW THIS LIST WAS COMPILED:
In January, we invited the public to cast their votes for their favorite South Tampa businesses across categories encompassing Food and Drink, Health and Beauty, and Retail and Services, the boundary of which is defined by South of Kennedy Boulevard and downtown, south of I-275.
We then tallied those votes. We proudly present to you the 2025 Best of South Tampa list.
