Coastal Cowgirls Collective Pop-Up Comes to Hyde Park Village
Coastal Cowgirls Collective, a locally owned custom hat bar, has introduced a unique pop-up experience at Hyde Park Village. Shoppers can select from a variety of hats—bucket hats, baseball caps, trucker hats, woven cowboy hats, ranchers and wool cattleman hats—and customize their selections with hundreds of add-ons for a personalized hat-making experience.
Fresh Finds in the Burg
St. Petersburg has welcomed a wave of new dining options in recent months, including Daycation, an Asian-inspired specialty coffee and tea shop. Cybel, a French-Moroccan restaurant, has opened its doors on 5th Avenue North and Voodoo Brewing Co. is now serving craft beers at the former Orange Blossom Catering location at 220 4th St. N. Brewed Awakening opened in Kenwood and Pete’s Bagels made its debut in Gulfport.
New Hotel Opens in Downtown St. Petersburg
The 11-story Galaxy Hotel has officially opened, just a short walk from the St. Pete Pier. Initially housing first responders after Hurricane Milton, the hotel is now accepting public reservations. Guests can enjoy a rooftop bar, a cozy coffee shop and a 5,600-square-foot Mediterranean restaurant called Eve, set to debut in mid-2025.
Tastes in Tampa
Shogun Sushi, a new all-you-can-eat sushi and seafood fusion restaurant, has opened in the former Hao Wah’s location on Dale Mabry. The expansive menu features sushi, sashimi and Japanese-style entrees. In Seminole Heights, the women-owned Blooming Floral Cafe offers specialty lattes and stunning decor, while Fresh Kitchen has launched its 16th location near Busch Gardens and USF.
New Immersive Show Opens at The Dalí
“Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon” is the latest immersive experience to launch in The Dalí Dome, following the success of “Dalí Alive 360°.” This 42-minute journey at The Dalí Museum transforms the iconic Pink Floyd album into a captivating visual symphony.
