This nonprofit provides financial resources to support leadership, education, training and research programs for Tampa Bay’s law enforcement. Additionally, the association gives scholarships to students seeking education in criminal justice.

Fundraising event: Phil Lebid Memorial Golf Tournament

This tournament occurs yearly to honor the memory of Secret Service Agent Phil Lebid, who was killed in the line of duty. This year marks the 17th iteration of the event. Proceeds benefit the Gold Shield Foundation and the Tampa Bay Area Chiefs of Police Education and Research Foundation. A luncheon, complimentary drinks and awards presentation will occur after play.
