Native Floridian, Tampeño, and trial attorney, Ryan Hutchinson is a rare breed. “There is only a small fraction of people that were born and raised here,” he says. “So many move later after a vacation or for the year-round sunny weather we love.”

This long and deep connection to the state translates to a unique bond with the local community. “These are my neighbors on the jury whose trust I must earn when seeking justice for my clients. Of course, every individual comes from a different walk of life and diversity of experience, but drawing on the shared trials and tribulations we go through together is key to establishing that essential vibe at trial.”

The swelling of Florida’s population, as well as the pervasiveness of ride share services like Uber and Lyft, has led his injury practice to focus heavily on litigating these types of motor vehicle crashes. “I am seeing an insane elevation in the number of Uber crashes,” Hutchinson says. “When someone is injured in an Uber or Lyft, either a passenger or driver, I want them to think of my law firm as the one with experience, knowledge, resources, and resolve to achieve the best result in light of a horrible situation.”

Mr. Hutchinson attended the University of Florida, a top-10 public school, on a full academic scholarship, then studied law at Stetson College of Law in St. Petersburg, which has been ranked as the top trial advocacy program in the nation. He received his MBA from the University of South Florida here in Tampa. He was an associate at two large insurance defense firms prior to representing injury victims. “
