Dr. Moreno is the most experienced and advanced spinal surgeon in the Tampa Bay region, helping thousands of patients find relief from pain and restoring their lives.

“Most of my patients suffer from severe pain and have a poor quality of life,” Dr. Moreno says. “Because of the pain they cannot sleep, work or even walk to the mailbox. Many have failed prior surgical treatments. Restoring their quality of life when they come to me in severe pain or with neurologic problems or significant spinal deformity is very rewarding.”

He has patented several spinal devices, which have advanced surgical techniques on a worldwide basis. Treating a wide variety of spine disorders, Dr. Moreno specializes in microsurgery of the neck and low back and correction of spinal deformity. He is an active fellow for the Scoliosis Research Society and the Chief of Spine Surgery Mease Hospitals (Baycare).
