Visit Bearrs Groves this October to lay your eyes on a massive, 1,500-pound gourd! The pumpkin, which was grown in Michigan, is the heaviest pumpkin to ever make its way to the Tampa-based farm. Visiting the pumpkin for perfectly-fall photo-ops is free.

The Heights District’s 6th Annual Fall Festival

Armature Works is hosting what appears to be one of the most picturesque and family-friendly fall events this year! Corky’s Corn Maze at Keel Farm

Keel Farm is the place to be for autumn fun. Starting in October, you’ll have full access to their four-acre maze to enjoy hidden clues, hayrides and try many of their hand-crafted wines and ciders. Corky’s will feature a variety of food trucks, which change every weekend. Some of the trucks attending include Top Dog and La Santa Maria, among others. Run around with the roosters and indulge in fun games like cornhole for some friendly competition. Overall, it promises to be an unbeatable, fall-filled day trip with family and friends.

This October 21st, the 6th Annual Fall Festival Fundraiser will commence to support Reach’s mission of preventing homelessness, aiding low-income individuals, and addressing at-risk situations in Pinellas County. Reach is a nonprofit organization working to “bridge the gap between people and the resources they need.” Enjoy painting pumpkins, perusing the open market, live music, food trucks, face painting and more! All the proceeds from the event will support Reach’s Pop-Up Pantry to feed those in need – a fun way to lend a helping hand.

Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest

Sparkman Wharf will host its annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest on October 23. Registration will begin at 6 p.m. at The Modern Paws and the contest will kick off at 7 p.m. at the stage area. The competition features three categories to win: viewer’s choice, best duo and best costume.

Sparkman Wharf is celebrating its 5th annual Haunted Wharf with two FREE nights of entertainment from 5:30 – 10:00 p.m. on October 27-28. This family-friendly event will serve as the best backdrop in town, having transformed overnight into a haunted pirate shipwreck with silly spooks for the kids and scary fun for the adults as the evening progresses.
