Savory St. Pete Finds
ISU, a 50-seat modern izakaya sushi lounge blending Japanese artistry with Peruvian flavors, has opened on Beach Drive. The concept comes from the Michelin Guide–recognized team behind Fortu. On Central Avenue, another foodie find has debuted: Monte Pizza, specializing in wood-fired pies. FireWater Wellness & Cuisine, which prides itself as a home for international food and holistic wellness, also opened on Central Avenue.

Apartment Complex and Condo Tower Open
With Tampa Bay’s continued growth, the area remains in need of new residential options. Wingspan Development Group, headquartered in Illinois, has helped ease some of that demand with the debut of a 12.35-acre, 211-unit apartment complex in Riverview’s Marana neighborhood, offering one-, two- and three-bedroom homes. St. Pete has also welcomed downtown residents to the new 42-story Art House condo tower. The building contains 244 luxury condos and is more than 85% sold.

New-ish on Water Street
Predalina, owned by Oxford Commons, has reopened after a major renovation that began in October. The space, designed by Oxford Design Studio, now features Riviera-inspired glamour with hand-laid mosaics and aged brass. Updates beyond the design include an expanded Water Street patio and two new cocktail lounges. The menu also blends reimagined favorites (like Steak Frites and Potato Stroma) with new Southern European-inspired dishes (like Burrata & Caviar).

Brunch & Burgers in the Bay
Juicy’s Famous Fair Food, a Bradenton restaurant known for fair favorites such as fried Oreos, funnel cakes, hot dogs and cheeseburgers, has opened in Armature Works. The Breakfast House has brought omelets, sandwiches and combos to its Seminole Heights location on East Sligh Avenue. For something sweeter, Kunafa King Cafe opened a full café in Temple Terrace with items such as Dubai-style croissants, lotus cheesecake and pistachio lattes. Tampa favorite Bavaro’s has opened a brunch concept, Café Bavaro, next to its Clearwater location on Mandalay Avenue. Open only on weekends, the menu includes items such as cinnamon swirl sourdough French toast and tiramisu iced lattes.
