Buccaneers Show Support For Girls’ Flag Football
After successfully hosting the Girls Flag Football Preseason Classic, the largest girls’ flag football tournament in the country, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced it will host the 2024 FHSAA Girls Flag Football State Championships at AdventHealth Training Center in May. Flag football is one of the latest sports added to the Olympic Games and will appear at the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles.
Two Tampa Bay Restaurants In Yelp’s Top 100 Pizza Spots
From Chicago-style to thin crust, pizza holds a special place in the culinary world. In Yelp’s yearly compilation of the Top 100 Pizza Spots across the U.S., two Tampa Bay restaurants made the cut. Noble Crust in St. Petersburg claimed the 56th spot, while Eddie & Sam’s N.Y. Pizza in Tampa secured the 72nd position.
Tampa Riverwalk Nominated For Best In The Country
Tampa Riverwalk has been nominated for the second year in a row as one of America’s Best Riverwalks in the USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards. The Riverwalk previously took home the 9th spot in the USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice for Best Public Holiday Display in America.
Tampa Monopoly Officially Released
First announced in September, MONOPOLY: Tampa Edition is now officially out. Move your game piece around the board to sites like Bayshore Boulevard, Busch Gardens, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, The Florida Aquarium and more. The game will be available in stores and online at retail partners, including Top Trump’s website, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Visit Tampa Bay, Tampa Convention Center, Tampa Bay History Center and The University of Tampa.
Skyway Bridge Ranked Second Best Bridge For A Scenic Commute
Often called the gateway to Tampa Bay, the Skyway Bridge clinched the second position in Gunther Volkswagen Fort Lauderdale’s survey that asked participants, “If you could choose any of America’s iconic bridges for your daily commute, which one would it be?” The top spot was secured by the Admiral Clarey Bridge in Hawaii.
