Cooler days are behind us, and with spring here, nothing beats dining outdoors. With Tampa Bay’s stunning landscapes and culinary excellence, soak up the sunshine with a cocktail in hand or indulge in mouthwatering dishes. It’s outdoor dining season!

Craft Tampa

Craft Tampa
603 Channelside Drive, Tampa
(813) 223-7999

Craft Tampa set sail in March 2024, offering unforgettable brunch, lunch, dinner and special event cruises with stunning waterfront views. Guests can enjoy a three-course meal from a scratch kitchen while cruising past local landmarks like the Beneficial Drive Bridge and Harbour Island. Menu highlights include entrees like steak and eggs with sweet potato hash and select desserts. Optional appetizers like a charcuterie board featuring various cheeses and seasonal accompaniments further elevate the meal. For a splash of local flavor, sip on bridge-inspired cocktails like the Kennedy Cruiser or Meridian Spice before departing back to the dock.

Lower Deck
601 S. Harbour Island Blvd., Suite 110, Tampa
(813) 384-7844

The Lower Deck, a dockside gem at The Point on Harbour Island, offers an unbeatable waterfront experience with panoramic views of Downtown Tampa, Bayshore and the convention center. With cozy couches and tables right at pier level, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy handcrafted cocktails—each syrup made in-house—alongside pizza by the slice from a full stone pizza oven and classic Italian dishes.. Enjoy live music, DJs on weekends, and prime views of Gasparilla, holiday boat parades, and other waterfront events.

Rome + Fig

Rome + Fig
317 N. Rome Ave., Tampa
(813) 253-3353

Nestled in the heart of North Hyde Park, Rome + Fig’s patio provides a relaxing and inviting atmosphere, ideal for special events, Happy Hour with friends, casual dining or a romantic dinner under the stars. Guests can enjoy al fresco dining at its finest, indulging in time-tested favorites like the Fried Green Tomato Caprese or exploring fresh seasonal offerings such as the Day Boat Fish Papillote. Dinner is served Wednesday through Sunday, with brunch available on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Getaway

The Getaway
13090 Gandy Blvd. N., St. Petersburg
(727) 317-5751

A slice of paradise with a backyard island preserve, dolphin sightings, and access by land or sea, The Getaway is a sanctuary for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails. Indulge in buttery brioche coconut-custard French toast, sip a Hemingway daiquiri under the tiki bar’s swaying palms or dig into the famous jalapeño poppers—halved jalapeños stuffed with candied brisket, smoked gouda and cream cheese, then wrapped in bacon. These crave-worthy bites even landed a feature on Food Network’s “Beach Bites with Katie Lee.” Tropical island flavors shine in scratch-made crab cakes, coconut shrimp, and mai tais, while the waterfront setting invites an all-day escape, complete with paddleboarding nearby.

Watervüe Grille

Watervüe Grille
700 Harbour Post Drive, Tampa
(813) 642-7980

Aptly named for its beautiful setting on Harbour Island overlooking the Garrison Channel, Watervüe Grille is an outdoor dining destination with outside seating and sprawling floor-to-ceiling windows to take in the view from inside too. Savor dishes like the Korean chili flake crusted ahi tuna with blue crab fried rice or steamed mussels with green chili crema and shaved jalapenos. For flavorful libations, order the Sky Vüe, a new spring specialty cocktail that’s a twist on the Aviaton. It’s the perfect balance of creme de violette, gin, lemon, maraschino and crafted vanilla pea flower syrup
