Courtney has been with Tampa Magazines since 2019 and quickly fell in love with the city as a proud alumna of the University of Tampa. Her love for food began early, growing up with traditional Italian Sunday dinners and baking alongside her grandmother. Although Italian cuisine is practically in Courtney’s DNA, her tastes have evolved since becoming gluten-free several years ago. She’s always on the hunt for the best gluten-free finds—from baked goods and pizzas to pasta and sandwiches—and especially appreciates restaurants that thoughtfully craft those dishes to be just as delicious.
Her ideal night out includes a hearty short rib dish or a flavorful Thai meal, while quick weekday bites often mean a healthy bowl from places like Sweetgreen. Courtney also loves all types of soup, especially pho, tom kha and tom yum—even when it’s hot outside.
You’ll often find her sampling the newest matcha or espresso latte creations around Tampa; being a mom requires lots of caffeine. You can find Courtney’s food recommendations on her Instagram page, @influencetampa, where she reviews Tampa Bay restaurants and beyond.
