What he’s wearing: Cashmere and silk sport coat, Saks Fifth Avenue; navy pants and lavender dress shirt, Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collection

Benevolent projects: John Winter Memorial Teddy Bear Roundup; Toys for Tots

Favorite Designers: Robert Talbott, Barney’s New York, Adam Derrick

Top 3 songs on my iPod: “When September Ends” by Greenday, “Beautiful Day” by U2 and “One Night in Bangkok” by Murray Head

Prized possession: Family and friends (if you can call them possessions)

Favorite Tampa nightspot: Samurai Blue

What inspires me: People who achieve what they set out to do, no matter the obstacles.

Can’t get enough of: World War II documentaries. I love history.

If I had to be stranded on an island with one person: Jennifer Anniston or Halle Berry, whoever is available since Ginger and Mary Ann made it off the island.

Specialty in the kitchen: Salsa, limoncello and lefse (Norwegian potato crepe)

Can’t live without: A motorcycle

Guilty pleasure: High-quality sunglasses and really good Mexican tequila

Most beautiful place in the world: Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. Na Pali Coast, Kauai. Bertesgarten, Germany… hard to pick!

Bay area’s Best-kept secret: Taco Bus (if it’s still a secret)

Most ridiculous fashion purchase: Back in the ‘70s, I had one—and only one—of those polyester disco shirts. I never wore it. It was a tan color… blech.

Most unusual item in my home: A jolly musical chimp from the 80s

Greatest extravagance: Staying in the Shangri La Hotel in Kowloon. It overlooks Hong Kong Harbor.

I would travel 5,000 miles to see: And eat at an In-N-Out Burger
