A third generation Tampa native, Toni Everett started The Toni Everett Company more than 35 years ago. A real estate development had stalled, and the company asked Everett to help them reignite the project. Relying on her background in advertising and marketing, Everett turned the project into a success for everyone. “I was told I was a natural at sales, but I really enjoyed doing it,” she said, “I was having fun.”
Everett developed the two per floor, one per floor condo concept for the Bayshore Regency, which has now been copied all over the world, and she was the first person to execute a $1 million condominium sale on Bayshore Boulevard. Everett’s touch can be felt throughout the Tampa Bay real estate market. In addition to high-end luxury home sales and other projects throughout the area, The Toni Everett Company is currently working on the mixed-use development Georgetown on South Westshore and The Aquatica, a high-rise on Bayshore Boulevard. Everett tells her employees to, “Be natural, be consistent, and be persistent.”
I love working in real estate because I love working with people – both the buyers and the sellers,” Everett said. “They become friends. They become part of your family.”
Outside of real estate, Everett is very involved with the Tampa community especially charities involving children, the arts and medicine.
