Westgate offers a range of accommodations, but we opted for a luxury glamping tent. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the air conditioning worked—it kept us cool even in the Florida heat. Each site comes with a golf cart, making it easy to explore the property. By evening, guests gather around the campfire for s’mores, creating a warm and welcoming community atmosphere.
Water Park Fun and Poolside Relaxation
The brand-new water park could have entertained us all day with its slides, splash zones, and pools. Renting a cabana was the perfect way to take a break from the sun, and the poolside lunch and drinks made it even better.
Dining and Downtime
The River Ranch Cattle Company and Smokehouse on the River served up hearty, delicious meals with generous portions. When we weren’t eating or exploring, we relaxed in the hammocks near the teepees—pure bliss.
Evening Entertainment
One of the biggest highlights was the line dancing—fun for all ages and a great way to meet other guests. And of course, no trip to Westgate River Ranch would be complete without the rodeo. The packed arena roared with excitement as riders showcased incredible horsemanship and daring bull rides.
