Spring into Easter weekend with egg hunts, visit with a certain bunny and brunches around Tampa. We’ll be updating this list throughout the week as we get word of more of events. If there’s one we’re missing, send it to us at info@tampamagazines.com.

 

Bunnyville at International Plaza and Bay Street
March 29 – April 20
2223 N. Westshore Blvd.

Shop around the International Plaza and Bay Street mall as you take the family to see the Easter Bunny. A completely Easter-themed experience with “Bunnyville” and photo packages available for purchase.

 

The Tampa Bay HOPPY Easter Bunny 5K at Whiskey Joe’s Tampa Waterfront Restaurant
Saturday, April 20
8:30 a.m.
7720 W. Courtney Campbell Causeway

Benefiting the Shriners Hospital and Finish Lines For Scholarships, this 5k walk or run is set along the waterfront Courtney Campbell Trail. Entry to the race includes a shirt, free beer for those over 21, a food sampler from Whiskey Joe’s and a medal for finishing the race. The cost for an individual participant is $42.

 

Heights Spring Festival
Saturday, April 20
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Armature Works
1910 N. Ola Ave.

Armature Works is throwing its first-ever Spring Festival, complete with an egg hunt, petting zoo, egg decorating, face painting, bounce houses and photo ops with the Easter Bunny. There will be one egg hunt for kids 5 and under and one egg hunt for kids 5 to 10; click here to register your child.

 

Sensory Friendly Easter Experience
Saturday, April 20

Autism Shifts Re-Imagine Center

Suite 110

A unique Easter event hosted by Autism Shifts, the organization aims to provide a “more private and calming setting” to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Details include meeting the Easter Bunny, face painting, an ice cream truck and a potted flower station.

 

Rusty Pelican Easter Brunch
Sunday, April 21
9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
2425 N. Rocky Point Drive

Offering a Champagne Easter Buffet including drinks such as bottomless mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar, as well as bites to eat like smoked prime prime rib, this waterfront locale is a great spot to celebrate the Easter holiday. Reservations are required, and it’s $75 for adults and $35 for children, with those under 5 allowed to eat for free.

 

The Capital Grille Easter Brunch
Sunday, April 21
10 a.m.
2223 N. Westshore Blvd.

Placed at International Plaza, this steakhouse is offering a special prixe fixe Easter brunch menu with options like a lobster frittata, New York strip and eggs, and fried chicken and waffles. Brunch begins at $49 per adult and $15 per child. Reservations are required.

 

Easter Egg-Splosion
Sunday, April 21

4015 Ragg Road

Hosted by ASAP Church, the Easter-Egg Splosion will feature free children’s programs such as an egg hunt and Easter story, as well as provide an opportunity for three kids to win a free week of summer camp at the YMCA in Carrollwood.

 

Easter Egg Drop – Easter Eggstravaganza
Sunday, April 21
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
4202 E. Fowler Ave.

Watch as a helicopter holding over 20,000 easter eggs filled with candy release overhead, preceded by an Easter service at 10 a.m. Families can also register on-site for a chance to win one month of either free rent/mortgage, car payment or car insurance.

 

Easter Brunch & Dinner Cruises

On this family-friendly brunch cruise set to put you in the Easter mood, you can dine on a variety of dinner and lunch items while cruising down Tampa’s waterfront. On top of DJ entertainment and a brunch buffet, the family will also be able to meet the Easter Bunny to take photos.

 

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
Sunday, April 21
10 a.m. to midnight

The Seminole Hard Rock will have Easter menu specials throughout the day at each of its eateries. Fresh Harvest is offering a holiday buffet with prime rib, bourbon-glazed ribs, prosciutto-wrapped pork, guacamole deviled eggs and desserts for $40 per person. Hard Rock Café is doing a lamb chops special with scalloped potatoes and honey-glazed carrots, while The Rez Grill will have braised lamb neck and herb-crusted loin. The steakhouse Council Oak will feature a grilled domestic spring lamb loin with English peas, morel mushrooms and pineapple-mint lamb jus. Check the website for each restaurant’s operating hours.

 

Seasons 52 Easter Brunch

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
204 N. Westshore Blvd.

Take a slightly lighter approach to Easter with Seasons 52’s three-course brunch. Choose a cup of soup, salad or yogurt to start, one main plate (including prime steak and eggs, grilled lobster with polenta and eggs, and upright French toast), and a dessert for $30. Add on a bottomless brunch cocktail for $15.

 

Easter at the Don CeSar
Sunday, April 21
10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (brunch) | 2 to 9 p.m. (dinner)

Celebrate Easter on the beach with a brunch buffet in the Don CeSar’s King Charles Ballroom or dinner at the Sea Porch Restaurant. Brunch dishes include made-to-order omelets, a raw bar, smoked salmon, cheese and charcuterie, carving stations and chef specials. Options on the dinner buffet include chicken osso bucco, seared salmon, carved meats, a salad bar, pasta station, and chef-prepared desserts.

 

Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk Easter Brunch
Sunday, April 21
11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
200 N. Ashley Drive

The hotel’s River’s Edge restaurant is serving a special Easter buffet menu with highlights like a seafood bar, prime rib carving station, white truffle lobster mac and cheese and a pastry station. $38 for adults and $19 for kids.
