For Dwell Home Staging and Market designers Emily White and Kristy Craig Anderson, this contemporary new build was a dream. With a vast open floor plan, sleek iron and glass details, and gorgeous custom wood cabinets and flooring–it was an ideal canvas for “livable luxe” design.

The desired feel was quiet, minimal and luxe, so the designers’ task was to temper the sleek architecture and high ceilings with soft textures and organic elements to ground the space.

“We created a modern, organic vibe with crisp whites, creamy taupes and tans with pops of contrasting black and charcoal,” shares Craig Anderson. “We wanted the furniture and decor to play a supporting role to the star of the show–the coveted Davis Islands waterfront view.”

The on-trend curved boucle accent chairs in the living room soften the space, repeating the curved lines in the arched doorways and dining room chairs, which swivel for prime tv watching.
“We anchored the living room with a down-filled sectional in a fresh off-white performance fabric from Dwell Home Market,” says Craig Anderson, who opted for a soothing, nature-inspired design scheme. “It’s perfect for both upscale entertaining and kid-filled movie nights.”
The designer saltwater pool, outdoor kitchen, and private dock all face the alluring waterfront. Deep-water dockage is a yacht owner’s dream.
This contemporary waterfront masterpiece is nestled along one of Davis Islands’ most coveted streets. Here, the view takes center stage. Sweeping bay views can be seen from nearly every one of this home’s massive windows.
