Wine and Food Fest Comes to Tampa
This April, a four-day destination event is set to celebrate the culinary talents of Tampa Bay. Events include a grand tasting at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, chef showdown and more.

Water Street Adds More Restaurants
Boulon Brasserie is now open at Water Street. From Next Level Brands, the minds behind Forbici, Boulon is an upscale French bistro. Also open is Wagamama and still to come are Predalina by Oxford Commons and Ash by Proper House Group.
Mutts and Martinis Comes to Grand Central
St. Petersburg, America’s most dog-friendly city (according to SmartAsset) will be home to Florida’s first-ever dog waterpark with a full liquor bar. Opening this spring in Downtown St. Pete, Mutts and Martinis will include a pool with toys and obstacles for pups as well as lounging for parents. This will be the owners’ third concept. Their ventures include Love My Dog Resorts and Love My Dog Grooming and Boutique of St. Pete.
Trophy Fish Brings Seafood to Seminole Heights
Another St. Pete favorite is on the way to Tampa this Spring. In Seminole Heights, Trophy Fish will serve up its crowd-pleasing oysters, grouper sandwiches and cocktails in a casual, indoor-outdoor nautical chic atmosphere.
Gas Worx Breaks Ground
One of Tampa’s most anticipated developments, Gas Worx, connecting Ybor City to the rest of Downtown Tampa, is now moving forward with its first phase. Progress is underway on groundbreaking and on a 317-unit apartment development which is scheduled for opening in 2024.

TPA Lands New Nonstop Flights
Among the new direct routes are Frontier Airlines’ direct flight to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico launching this spring and Alaska Airlines’ nonstop to San Diego, CA, launching in October.
Major Concerts Announced for Tampa
Some of the world’s most famous musicians have announced Tampa tour dates for 2023. Bryan Adams will be performing at Amalie Arena in June, with Madonna taking the same stage in September. Beyonce will be headlining at Raymond James Stadium in August.
King State Opening Downtown St. Pete Location
Tampa’s beloved coffee roaster and beer brewer is expanding into Downtown St. Pete. Their second location will be an all-day spot for beer, coffee, wine and food. The cafe is set to open in late spring or early summer.
Cru Hospitality Opens Three More Concepts
Expanding their Tampa footprint, the minds behind Cru Cellars just performed a feat, opening three new concepts in under two weeks. Now open is Bouzy, a champagne bar in Hyde Park. Small Giant bar and restaurant, and Wine and Water wine and modern spirits shop are both open on Water Street.
