Rhone

Retail and Entertainment Arrivals in Tampa
Rhone, a performance lifestyle brand focused on promoting mental fitness, has opened at International Plaza in Tampa. Following its success in St. Pete, Lala is bringing its popular karaoke bar concept to SOHO. Lala Tampa features eight themed rooms, including Nashville, Gatsby, Reggae, Studio 54, Backstage, Hip-Hop and Red Carpet. Laser Ops Xtreme Fun Center, home to one of Florida’s largest laser tag arenas, has added a new indoor Nerf arena where players can dodge, run and fire foam darts in fast-paced battles.

St. Pete Apothecary Shop Gets an Upgrade
Sanctum Apothecary, located on 12th Street North, has expanded its offerings with a new bar serving tea, coffee and herbal elixirs. Open since 2022, the shop now blends wellness and refreshment, featuring locally roasted coffee from Clearwater’s East Coast Trading Co. and handcrafted herbal drinks. On-site herbalists are also available to create custom blends tailored to individual needs.

Chef and The Baker

Tastes of South Tampa
New eateries have arrived, including South Tampa’s sweet addition of Chef & the Baker. The new bakery cafe by Chef Rosana and Chef Ricardo is located on South Manhattan Avenue and features breakfast, coffee, fresh bread and pastries. Bar Terrior, the first major restaurant from Tastes Pretty Good, is an homage to French cuisine and is located on Henderson Avenue.

Hurricane Reopenings
After the 2024 hurricanes, many businesses in St. Pete and Tampa were forced to close permanently or undergo renovations. Now, two St. Pete establishments have officially reopened. Estate Cigars, located on 4th Street South, is back with a cozy indoor lounge and an intimate bar area. Grove Surf + Coffee on Gulf Boulevard—after experiencing 34 inches of flooding—required a complete rebuild. The surf shop and coffee bar have reopened in St. Pete Beach.

Vintage-Inspired Shop Comes to St. Pete
Vintage souvenir brand 5801 Print House, whose products were traditionally found at local markets like Indie Flea and Mezzo Market, has opened a new 3,000-square-foot warehouse and retail space on 6th Avenue South in St. Pete’s WarehouseArts District.

Heights Drive-Thru

Retro Convenience Drive-Thru Opens in Seminole Heights
Heights Drive-Thru, located on North Florida Avenue, carries local Tampa vendor grocery items like farm-fresh milk from Dakin Dairy Farms, Spaddy’s Coffee—cold brew and beans—Seamaid’s Creamery ice cream pints, bread from La Segunda and Gulf Coast Sourdough, local and viral snacks like fried chicken ice cream and the largest craft beer selection in Tampa.
