Do you want to see your art featured on the cover of TAMPA Magazine’s Art and Philanthropy issue? We’re looking for talented local artists to design a cover that captures the essence of Tampa Bay. The vibrant art scene is a huge part of what makes this area amazing, and we want to showcase your work!
We’re inviting the art community to create and submit completed pieces that embody the essence of Tampa Bay for possible publication in TAMPA Magazine.
Meet Last Year’s Winner
Estrada’s submission, “Connected Cities,” was chosen by the Tampa Magazine team to appear on the cover of our 2024 Best of the City issue. Speaking about the inspiration behind the piece, she said,

“As a University of Tampa student, I created this screenprint to represent my experiences in the city. In recent years, I’ve begun to think of it as a second home that I can happily return to after a long day’s work. Every time I travel to another city, I always leave behind a trail of fragments that make me think of Tampa. Even when looking up at the beautiful city, I am reminded that this is where I should be. In the future, I hope that other viewers will be as moved by this work as I am.” -Yalecxa Estrada
