St. Petersburg Restaurant Tops Tripadvisor’s 2023 “Everyday Eats”  List
Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille on the St. Pete Pier earned the number one spot on Tripadvisor’s 2023 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Restaurants in Everyday Eats.  Winning restaurants from across the country were selected by diners who’ve left feedback on Tripadvisor within the past year and Doc Ford’s St. Pete Pier location took first place in the Everyday Eats category.

Tampa Bay Watch Launches Shells For Shorelines
In collaboration with the Gulf Region Oyster Network, Tampa Bay Watch launched its “Shells for Shorelines” program. The effort recycles oyster shells from local restaurants to restore critical oyster reef habitats in Tampa Bay. Restaurants are given a five-gallon bucket to discard oyster shells, which are then collected, cleaned and cured for 90 days. Once cured, the oysters are used to create shell bags and vertical oyster gardens distributed throughout the Tampa Bay estuary.

Clearwater Beach Hotel A Top Meeting Site In The South
For the 10th consecutive year, the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa earned the Readers’ Choice Award from ConventionSouth, the South’s leading meetings and events industry magazine. A poll of more than 8,000 readers voted and this patricular Hyatt was among the list of winners.

Tampa Among List Of Best Instagram-Worthy Cities In Florida
According to a study conducted by FloridaRentals.com, Tampa ranks number 4 in a list of Florida’s most “Instagrammable” cities. Hashtags for 400 of Florida’s municipalities were analyzed and Tampa took the 4th spot while St. Petersburg took 9th.

MUFG Bank And Serhant Realty Expand Into Tampa
Tokyo-based MUFG Bank, the world’s seventh-largest financial institution, claimed office space in Tampa in one of the largest leases in this region in the last five years. SERHANT, a modern real estate brokerage, founded in New York City by Bravo’s Ryan Serhant from “Million Dollar Listing New York,” has brought on Kelly Burchill to lead the firm’s presence in the Tampa market.

New Bites Across The Bay
Cinnaholic, the plant-based bakery specializing in cinnamon rolls, brownies and cookies is now open in South Tampa. Toastique, which focuses on toasts, smoothies, bowls and juices, is up and running in the Water Street district along with Alter Ego, a cocktail lounge and listening room opening soon. 

Mickey’s Subs Voted Best Cheap Eats In The Nation
USA Today looked at 28,000 budget-friendly restaurants across all 50 states and Mickey’s Subs, which boasts stats of just under 500 reviews and a perfect 5-star rating, was named the best place for cheap eats in America.

Last Year For Sylvan Ramble Lights
“Sylvan Ramble Lights,” a holiday light show featured on national news and contains over 17,000 lights, will host its final holiday light display on Sylvan Ramble. The event and fundraising effort will take place the first four Fridays in December and New Year’s Eve. Donations will go toward providing quality wardrobes and nutritious meals to Tampa Bay children.
