AT THE OFFICE: In 2019, King-Orebaugh founded Brand House Promotions, which creates large-scale custom apparel and promotional items for brands and companies. She had previously designed the clothing sold at CrossFit 813, the gym she co-owned for nearly a decade, so she wanted to try her hand at custom apparel. “I love helping people turn their branding ideas into wearable items,” she says. “I get excited when I see someone wearing something we made.”

GIVING BACK: King-Orebaugh is passionate about building a healthy community. She has served on the board of The Teal Recovery Project (which supports the prevention of cervical cancer and care for people battling it) and is an active member of the Philanthropic Women of St. Joseph’s Hospital. “Joining Philanthropic Women of St. Joseph’s Hospital was a no-brainer because the foundation serves to improve the health of all women through community-owned healthcare services,” she says. “There is something so special about helping elevate your local hospital. We all will or have needed our local hospital at some point.”

THE BIGGEST LESSON I’VE LEARNED THIS YEAR WAS… Life is unpredictable. The most precious things to me are my family. 2020 has taught me to cherish the people closest to me more than ever.

MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT TAMPA IS… Davis Islands. Whether it is watching airplanes take off at “the end,” or going out on the boat, or having a coffee at DI Coffee Bar, I love it all.

MY SECRET TALENT IS… Sports-related competitions. Hoops, ice hockey, corn hole. Don’t threaten me with a good time!

THE BEST TV SHOW I WATCHED THIS YEAR WAS… Schitt’s Creek.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM VACATION? My dream vacation involves, but is not limited, to morning outdoor workouts in the sunshine, fresh coffee every morning, swimming in salt water, and enjoying the sunset with a cocktail.
