Roia Barrios dedicates her practice to assisted reproductive technology law.

“It’s a new, uncharted area,” she notes. “The laws are evolving with the technology, ethics and medicine — and we attorneys always evolve with them.”

Barrios enjoys guiding couples and individuals to a future that they didn’t think was possible due to reproductive limitations or their local laws on surrogacy. Essentially, she helps create families.

Barrios focuses on surrogacy, egg donation and cryopreservation agreements, representing all parties to these arrangements, including intended parents and gestational surrogates.

She and her husband, attorney Brad Barrios, have three children.
