Dr. Nadia Pokrovskaya’s, journey from overcoming adversity in Russia to becoming a successful dentist and entrepreneur in the United States is a testament to her resilient spirit and boundless compassion. Born in Socialist Russia, her own escape from a human trafficking incident marked a turning point; she arrived in the U.S. with just $500, broken English and a single suitcase, ready to create her own future filled with promise and hope.

While working at a movie theater concession stand, a toothache ignited her passion for dentistry, prompting her to become a dental assistant.

After completing her pre-med courses at Harvard Extension School, she earned a coveted spot at TUFTS University School of Dental Medicine. While pursuing her education, she engaged in tutoring and CPR instruction. She also volunteered at the VA dental clinic in Boston, participated in dental and medical relief missions to Peru and Honduras, and actively supports local veterans and community charities.

Her professional journey led her to serve as a dentist in the US Air Force before returning to Massachusetts to open her first private practice.

Over the years, her practice continued to flourish and even expanded, leading to the establishment of a second state-of-the-art clinic in Cape Cod and another in Clearwater. 

While specializing in general dentistry and implant dentistry, Dr. Nadia and the Clearwater Dentist team also offer a range of services.
