Dr. Hanalla earned his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He then completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In his final year of residency, he was elected among faculty and peers to serve as chief resident.

Dr. Hanalla is board certified with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation serves as the Medical Director for Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa.

His medical interests include neuro-rehabilitation, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, spasticity management, and electrodiagnostic medicine. Dr. Hanalla is fluent in English and Arabic.
