Dr. Kirk Jobe, our 2023 Top Doctor in the category of Neurosurgery, is currently the chief neurosurgeon at one of the only two- level IV epilepsy programs on the West Coast of Florida. He also practices general neurosurgery with expertise in the areas of the skull base, brain tumors, aneurysms, and minimally invasive spine. With 18 years of experience, he has consistently been rated as one of the top neurosurgeons in the Tampa Bay area.

Dr. Jobe attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with high honors in chemistry and a double major in cellular molecular biology. After attending medical school and completing his surgical internship at Wayne State University School of Medicine, he completed a neurosurgical residency with an enfolded fellowship in functional neurosurgery at Rush University Medical Center.

“Epilepsy surgery is a specific type of neurosurgical training that is applicable only at specific centers in the United States. We are happy to be one of two centers on the Gulf Coast of Florida that offer these surgeries,” says Dr. Jobe.
