Shalini Batra, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon. She provides comprehensive dermatologic care, ranging from general and surgical treatments to aesthetic procedures. Batra specializes in cosmetic treatments, including laser resurfacing and chemical peels. She holds a special interest in medical-grade, medium-to-deep chemical peels and Fraxel resurfacing to address skin cancer prevention, wrinkles, scarring, discoloration and sun damage. She will continue to expand cosmetic services in 2026.

Following a pre-doctoral clinical research year at Northwestern University focused on women’s vulvar dermatology, Batra developed a dedicated interest in treating vulvar skin conditions. She currently practices at NIIVA, her South Tampa office. A Florida native, Batra resides in South Tampa with her husband and their 2-year-old son.
