Originally from Melbourne, Florida, Dr. Shalini Thareja Batra is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. Dr. Batra performs a full range of dermatologic care, including general, cosmetic and surgical dermatology.

She performs all of her cosmetic procedures, including laser resurfacing, microneedling, platelet-rich plasma injections, chemical peels and injectables. She has a special interest in medical-grade, medium-to-deep chemical peels and Fraxel® resurfacing for skin cancer prevention and improving wrinkles, scarring, discoloration and sun damage. 

After a clinical research year at Northwestern University focused on women’s vulvar dermatology, she developed a strong interest in treating vulvar skin conditions and now receives frequent referrals from local physicians. 

Dr. Batra lives in South Tampa with her husband and their 1-year-old son.
