The Āyu vision is to create a transformative and unforgettable client experience with a range of bespoke facials, sound healing, reiki, facial cupping, gua sha, and more. Owner Alexzandra Exterkamp is a certified sound healer and facial reflexologist whose core values are rooted in ancient Eastern medicine and herbalism. 

The business has a passion for women-owned, luxurious, botanical products, as Exterkamp’s motivation is grounded in the desire to share love and peace with others to facilitate healing. Exterkamp prides herself on incorporating modern technology with hands-on techniques to deliver an integrated holistic experience. 

“Āyu is an extension of myself, my interests, and my passions. I created Ayu to bring people together, to share love, happiness, and healing,” she says. “It is a sacred space that has so much to offer the Tampa community. While it is holistic, Āyu caters to the modern woman.”

This year, Exterkamp plans to add instructors for their “breathing room” for group events and privatte classes for sound healing, yoga, and mat Pilates/ She also plans to expand to include an apothecary workshop to offer hands-on classes to create tea blends, candles, soaps, cooking classes, and more.
