Mal and Coco Strong are the sisterpreneurs behind goldplaited, a brick-and-mortar beauty brand dedicated to excellence in finishing services. The Strong sisters first arrived on the beauty scene with the launch of the original goldplaited location in Chicago in 2013. The intervening decade brought a second Chicago location, the launch of their South Tampa storefront in March 2023, and mobile services in Boston and New England.

  goldplaited allows busy women access to high-quality event styling and makeup services – think blowouts, updos, braids, and full-face makeup applications. 

  “Coco and I continually develop our team through continued education, so our clients get a reliable standard of service every time”, says Strong. “We don’t get a second chance to make you feel beautiful on your wedding day or other momentous occasion. It’s important to us to get it right.”
