Growth, consistency and taking chances against the odds are the backbone of Premiere Center for Cosmetic Surgery, which Valerie McAllister founded nearly 30 years ago. Working as a nurse anesthesiologist, McAllister realized the need for qualified anesthesia services in plastic surgery office settings. Taking a leap of faith, she developed what became the largest anesthesia company of its kind in South Florida where she discovered plastic surgeons had different practices and philosophies – some good, some bad.
This insight inspired McAllister to start her own plastic surgery company with highly marketed and quality cosmetic providers all under one roof at an affordable price – a concept friends, family and colleagues unanimously agreed couldn’t be done, which only encouraged her more.
Since its inception, Premiere has stayed at the forefront of new and modern procedures offered to target individualized concerns from non-surgical options like Morpheus8™, cosmetic injectables and CoolSculpting® to surgical procedures of the face, body and breasts. Her business model is also built on using the best safety practices available whether that’s only hiring board-certified plastic surgeons, experienced cosmetic injectors and medical estheticians to having a fully-accredited operating room and recovery room.
Advancements and progress aside, what’s stayed consistent is McAllister’s mission for providing the latest and greatest technology at an affordable price. Premiere provides patients with zero-percent financing options and markets their monthly specials on their website premierecenter.com and on Instagram @premiere_center.
Despite the naysayers and all the ups and downs that come with running a business, McAllister has set out and achieved her vision for Premiere. “But,” McAllister says, “there’s always more to come!”
“I’d like to be an inspiration for other practitioners and other women that are trying to think outside the box,” she says. “A vision or an idea takes hard work and perseverance to become a reality.”
