Tami Oberbroeckling, Tampa’s expert in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement and Master Injector, is celebrating her 60th birthday, or “diamond jubilee,” this summer. She is living the healthy, fabulous life that she brings to so many clients.
“I never imagined being 60, but if this is what 60 feels like, I’m feeling simply amazing,” says Oberbroeckling.
Oberbroeckling started her career in Dayton, Ohio in the field of neurosurgery. “I had a successful neurosurgical career. I was living a life of affluence. I was selfish and spoiled,” says Oberbroeckling. “It wasn’t until I was invited on a mission trip in 2004 that my life changed forever.”
It was on this trip that she met her now-daughter, Shane, in an orphanage in Jamaica. The trip sparked Oberbroeckling’s love of mission work. After another trip to Africa, an abandoned baby, Tula, became her second daughter, forever a part of her family.
“I knew very well how to save a life but wanted to know how to save a soul,” says Oberbroeckling. She returned to the US, went back to school, and earned a second degree in Theology from the River Bible Institute, and began her career in Aesthetics.
After working to serve others both in and out of the medical field, Oberbroeckling felt a change in the way she saw her clients’ needs. This sparked an internal struggle for her in the aesthetic industry, one that is not always well-known for treating providers fairly. Seeing a need for change, she launched her own aesthetic practice.
Tampa Bay Total Wellness is Tampa’s fastest-growing age-management practice. A training center for advanced lasers, injectables, and bio-identical hormones, and truly empowers change within the industry. Oberbroeckling’s staff and patients credit her with changing their lives for the better. Her personal, lighthearted approach is backed by her tenacious desire to learn and understand the cutting-edge science behind aging.
Now married to her amazing husband, Larry, the two work hard for one goal: give back to others, live long, and die healthy!
