Popular Miami-based chain The Salty Donut specializes in chef-made, small-batch craft donuts in various fun flavors. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available. Coming to Hyde Park Village, no date is set for the opening.
The artisanal donut shop and coffee bar started out of a vintage camper in Wynwood. The owners gained steam popping up at Miami events before opening their brick-and-mortar shop and expanding to locations across Florida, Texas and North Carolina.
Their newest location will open at 1519 W. Swann Ave. in Hyde Park Village. Chef-made specialties include creative sweets like toasted coquito, white chocolate tres leches and butterbeer, with savory specialties such as everything cream cheese puff and a barbecue brisket and cheddar kolache.
