Oxford Commons Plans New Concept In Water Street
Tampa-based hospitality group Oxford Commons plans to open Predalina in 2023 as a dining and boutique home decor concept on the ground floor of Cora, a luxury high rise residence. The seafood-driven Mediterranean restaurant will include outdoor dining, a raw bar, wood-fired oven and wine cellar. Predalina will also offer a retail market with items such as hand-crafted tabletop wares, home decor and gifts.
Hyde House’s Public Studio Now Open
In Hyde Park Village, Public Studio by Hyde House opened in April and features a professional photography and film studio, art gallery, multi-purpose event space and co-working spaces, available to be rented hourly or daily. The studio is also home to a content agency for hire that provides digital content production services for both photography and video.
International Fashion Shop Coming To Hyde Park Village
High-end resort wear brand Zimmermann is expected to open its first Gulf Coast outpost this summer in Hyde Park Village at 1620 W. Snow Ave., next to beach clothing store Sunni Spencer. The Australian brand is popular internationally for its luxury swim and resort clothing.
6-Mile Tampa Riverwalk Extension Announced
An extension to Tampa’s Riverwalk has been announced, with a 6-mile trail from Platt Street near the Bayshore Publix to an area near Rick’s on the River in West Tampa. This extension aims to draw in neighborhoods to the west, connecting them to each other and downtown. The project also aims to expand connections and provide mobility options for pedestrians and bicyclists throughout West Tampa’s neighborhoods.
Coldplay To Perform In Tampa
Coldplay is bringing its Music of the Spheres World Tour to Raymond James Stadium on June 14. The tour is supported by H.E.R. and features extensive pyrotechnics, confetti visuals and xylobands for audience members to wear. It marks Coldplay’s return to live shows after pausing to make their tours more environmentally friendly.
Catch The Doobie Brothers’ 50th Anniversary Tour
Known for an iconic catalog of music that touches on classic rock, folk and country, The Doobie Brothers is joined by former bandmate Michael McDonald for one of the most widely anticipated tours of 2022. The band stops on June 3 at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. It first performed in Tampa in 1975 and hasn’t toured with McDonald for 25 years.

This roadshow of the popular FOX Network reality TV series invites the audience to guess who is singing inside the costume. Catch it June 29 at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. The show features surprise celebrity hosts and guests. Each tour stop also features a surprise local celebrity performance.
Celebrate Independence Day Tampa’s Way
The City of Tampa and the Tampa Downtown Partnership’s official Boom By The Bay event is back on July 4 at several locations throughout Downtown Tampa. The boat parade begins in the Tampa Convention Center basin, travels up to Tampa Heights and ends at Sparkman Wharf, including two stations for the traditional blessing of the fleet. Don’t miss the fireworks, live entertainment, food and drinks.
