Whether preparing a home-cooked meal or cleverly disguising takeout, the kitchen remains one of the most important rooms in the home—a space where function and beauty must coexist. In this custom kitchen, part of a four-bedroom, four-bath Tampa residence, Harry Lee III of Revive Design & Renovation leaned into the client’s taste for modern coastal style with an organic, luxurious twist.
Inspired by natural elements—warm wood tones, organic textures and layered neutrals—the design centers on mid-tone oak cabinetry for richness, paired with creamy stone countertops and a full-height slab backsplash accented in brass and gold. A custom plaster range hood, handcrafted by artist Ron Francis, introduces sculptural texture and a one-of-a-kind touch, as he makes each hood entirely by hand, ensuring no two designs are alike. Reeded wood detailing on the island adds warmth, while integrated appliances and pop-up outlets keep the look clean and functional.

A built-in coffee bar—complete with open shelving and dedicated storage—was a must-have. It’s ideal for the couple’s morning routines and entertaining friends, serving as a stylish yet practical focal point.
Altogether, the kitchen reflects a shift toward spaces that feel personal and welcoming. Every detail adds depth, character and a sense of calm.
