Interior Designer: Mandy Drew Design

Builder: Ciccarello & Sons

Architect: Advanced Engineering

Photographer: Seamus Payne

Elevated design is at the heart of Mandy Drew’s ethos, so it’s no surprise the designer utilized this concept to create her own primary residence.

For Mandy, her husband, two children and three fur-babies (golden doodles), she saught to create a sophisticated, timeless yet on-trend space to reflect not only her style, but her practical needs.

The 5,500-square-foot renovation, started in 2020 and finished in 2022 is a two-story, 5 bedroom seven bathroom house with an air of opulence and boldness.

“I was finishing the home during the end of the pandemic while also working on four other new construction and renovation projects,” Drew says. “It was challenging but I drew inspiration from probably twenty to twenty five different homes, pulling them together in ways to create each room.”

Elevated design was created with neutral colors, eye-catching dark black and bright white, and bold masculine elements.

“We used a lot of marble,” Drew describes. “There’s marble in every bathroom, and the kitchen is all marble.”

Drew’s style is polished, grandiose, elegant without being flashy. Touches of neoclassicism blend throughout. Color is used sparingly, but deliberately such as with greenery throughout the home, echoed with green living room curtains, and a light pink vanity in the shared bath. Elsewhere, black, white and gold are dominant elements in the space.

“The entire home is transitional styled, timeless and classic,” Drew shares.

A spectacular bar sits on the far end of the living room, perfect for entertaining. The open concept living room and kitchen let the light in. Dark masculine touches are balanced by bright whites and soft neutrals.

This bedroom seating, a custom couch hugging the corner of the room, is ideal for reading or lounging with natural light.
This ornate bedroom fireplace adds grandiosity and warmth to the space. Dark tones are seen on the fireplace, mirrors, bed and seating. Modern sleek white lines from the fireplace seem to seamlessly melt onto the floor. Greenery invites life into the room. This space is a perfect balance of classic and modern.
