The kitchen embraces a dramatic tone with black cabinetry and Eternal Marquina Silestone countertops. The off-white and neutral Serena Counter Stools from Hommes Design offer a striking contrast while harmonizing with the Bruce Oak Engineered Hardwood flooring in Breezy Gray, all illuminated by the Axis Large Linear Pendant from Visual Comfort.

Nestled in the luxurious Bella Collina community of Montverde, this 4-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom custom home, initially conceptualized as a spec home, blends a modern mountain vibe with moody organic modern elements.

Crafted under the discerning eye of interior designer Jamie Gasparovic, the visionary founder of Studio Gaspo, this architectural gem showcases a 2-story great room featuring a dramatic black ceiling, light wood beams and a captivating view of the custom pool. An electric fireplace, enveloped in dark gray stacked stone, anchors the space, while the kitchen’s monochromatic allure is enhanced by matte black cabinets and quartz countertops.

The presence of white oak, elegantly incorporated into the flooring, great room beams and fluted wood accents, not only reinforces the mountain-inspired aesthetic but also infuses timeless sophistication. The residence embraces trendy elements with statement wallpapers in the office, powder room and primary bathroom water closet, contributing to its dynamic personality. Studio Gaspo’s design strikes a balance between moody and airy, leveraging high ceilings, white walls and light flooring.

This meticulously designed home offers a harmonious retreat where contemporary design meets the tranquility of a mountain escape.

The office implements a similar color palette as the kitchen but stands out with a decorative ceiling featuring Vinyl Zebrawood in the shade Stormy Grey sourced from Phillip Jeffries. Handmade baskets from Tackussanu Senegal offer both function and style, all brought together by the unique Modern Forms Kryptonite light fixture.
The floor tile in the main bathroom was sourced from Tesoro and the handmade baskets next to the tub were found through Tackussanu Senegal.
The main bathroom balances black and gray tones with Makoto tile in Kumo Gray on the shower walls and Makoto tile in Kuroi Black on the shower floor, both from Bedrosians.
The use of a white vase with a pop of greenery adds an earthy tone to the moody dark ambiance of the space.
The pool bath brings a splash of color to the forefront with cabinets in the Sherwin-Williams shade Rockwood Shutter. Complementing the blue hues is the captivating Hemisphere Pebble Mosaic floor tile by Bedrosians in Ocean Black.
The powder bath shines with vinyl abstract wallpaper from Phillip Jeffries in the Geo Multi Sketch pattern..
The wine bar showcases Bedrosians’ Makoto tile in Kuroi Black and Shoji White, beautifully complementing the Silestone Quartz countertop in Eternal Marquina. Adding texture and height to the space are vases curated from H&M Home.
