For 44 years, Dr. Richard Rasmussen Jr. has built his periodontal and implant practice around a deceptively simple principle: the person matters more than the procedure.

He trained directly with Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark, widely regarded as the father of modern dental implantology, and has since placed tens of thousands of dental implants. Today, his practice encompasses complex implant reconstruction, bone regeneration, periodontal plastic surgery and treatment of gum recession, combining decades of surgical experience with contemporary microsurgical and digitally guided techniques.
Technology has transformed dentistry, but Rasmussen believes it should enhance—not replace— clinical judgment and the human relationship. Advanced 3D imaging, digital planning and computer-guided surgery allow extraordinary precision. Ultimately, however, successful treatment begins by listening.
Every patient arrives with a different history, different concerns and different goals. Rasmussen takes time to understand those differences and design care around the individual—not simply a tooth number, diagnosis or procedure.
