ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. I moved to Tampa in 2012. The city really opened the door for my family and me, and I’ve witnessed it growing at a swift pace into a city for all ages, diverse with many business centers, beautiful beaches and opportunities to serve the community.

Currently, I serve as president of the Hispanic Professional Women’s Association and a regional board member for Prospera (a nonprofit supporting Hispanic-owned businesses).

MY LOCAL KNOWLEDGE

I take clients to Seasons 52. Malio’s Prime Steakhouse is great for business meetings. Also, Cooper’s Hawk – the lobster bisque is amazing.

I love trying different restaurants – from brunch at Oxford Exchange and Olivia to a romantic dinner at Eddie V’s Prime Seafood or Meat Market. On weekends, I have drinks with friends at CW’s Gin Joint where there is incredible live jazz, or on one of our many stunning rooftops like M.Bird, Sal Y Mar or the newest, Azure at the Tampa Edition.

When some excitement is in order, nothing does the trick like catching a live game featuring our very own Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Lightning or Rays.

Ybor City is an amazing place that represents some of the cultures we have here in Tampa. The cigar shops and vintage boutiques I love – but especially the Columbia Restaurant with its food and building that holds over 117 years of our area’s history.

For Spanish food, I recommend Latin Grill. El Puerto Restaurant & Grill in Ybor City serves great Peruvian food. We always order chaufa (rice mixed with steak or chicken) when we go. For Mexican food – Don Julio’s Authentic Mexican Cuisine. La Teresita has the best café con leche.

With guests, we’ll drive to North Redington Beach or Madeira Beach to enjoy an astonishing sunset. I rub it in by telling them that every single sunset on the Gulf side is different.

Check out places to Dock and Dine in Tampa Bay.
