Jennifer Puleo, Faces of South Tampa
Favorite place for a power lunch:
You can’t beat Cook’s Kitchen’s egg salad sandwich. We are lucky to have the home-cooked British cuisine restaurant so close to Faces!
Favorite place for a client dinner:
Not only does Armani’s have incredible food, but it also offers gorgeous views of Tampa Bay. Reservations at sunset are icing on the cake.
Favorite place for a healthy snack:
Swami Juice. The Ah-Sigh-EE Bowl is my favorite.
Favorite Italian food:
Bella’s Italian Cafe. Margarita pizza, meatballs, fettuccine Bolognese, Bella’s famous chopped salad: the list is endless! So many of my favorite dishes are from their authentic Italian menu.
Holy Hog takes the gold for me. If you are ever in the mood for barbecue but want to take it home, they have a drive-thru!
Best place for wings:
If you like wings, then you must try the Premium Wings at Doormet. They’re BIG and tossed in an apricot sriracha sauce.
Cappys’ deep-dish Chicago style pizza. There’s a reason they’ve won so many awards; it’s delicious! Oh, and their Greek salad is incredible, too.
Soho Sushi’s curbside takeout is very convenient. The sushi is remarkable; however, the Oreo Sensation (deep-fried Oreos) is phenomenal.
Favorite place for a craft cocktail and cocktail of choice:
The cucumber gimlet at Ocean Prime with Bombay Sapphire gin, muddled fresh cucumber and hand-squeezed lime.
Favorite happy hour spot:
The Epicurean Hotel’s rooftop bar, Edge
Favorite place for a long walk:
The Tampa Riverwalk. You can’t beat the beautiful walk along Downtown Tampa. I like to end with lunch at Ulele and spend time at the park with my daughter.
Favorite exercise class or gym:
I have been going to private sessions with Ty Pena at The Bod for several years.
Favorite beach spot:
Frenchy’s in Clearwater for their grouper sandwich.
Favorite restaurant across the bay:
Guppy’s on Indian Rocks Beach.
Favorite place across the bay:
The Birchwood in St. Petersburg.
