About Me
I grew up in Tampa and am a Berkeley Prep “lifer.” My first big TV gig was for “The Reppies,” shot in Tampa for PBS. I performed at the 2001 SuperBowl pregame show in Tampa, announced for World Wrestling Entertainment and was an on-air correspondent for Access Hollywood.
Most recently, I guest starred in “The Blacklist” on NBC, “FBI: Most Wanted” on CBS and “9-1-1” on Fox. I’m a lead in Dreamworks’ “Trolls: TrollsTopia” on Hulu and Peacock. I also love DJing and will soon start as the resident DJ at Union New American and The Tampa EDITION. Plus, I voice video games, such as League of Legends.
My Local Knowledge
For live entertainment, Sparkman Wharf has a great vibe. You never know who will pop up and there’s a variety of music genres. M.Bird on Thursdays at Armature Works has live DJs and is the most fun party in Tampa.
You can dance the night away at Eden downtown. It has three DJs playing at the same time outdoors and inside, amazing LED lighting and flower walls, and is next to a great sushi place, Haiku.
A lively karaoke dive bar in Ybor City is called Double Decker. It’s a good daytime-to-nighttime place and Ybor is fun to walk around to different places.
For shopping, labelswap is an awesome, really trendy thrift store. I also like Francesca’s in Hyde Park Village. They always have a deal.
I get my nails done at Venus Nails & Day Spa. The gel manicure is great and very efficient, and the place has a fun art deco feeling.
I love getting facials at SB Health & Beauty Spa. They have a phenomenal menu and products. They also give good massages.
My favorite Tampa hidden gems are Mandarin Heights for a specialty craft cocktail and Shuffle for the best wings and some good, old-fashioned shuffleboard competition in The Heights.
