This full renovation by Greaves Construction, in collaboration with interior designer Johanna Goldlust Seldes of IDC/Interior Design Consulting, was thoughtfully designed with a gallery-like approach to showcase the homeowners’ collection of artwork and sculpture. Special lighting was installed to illuminate each piece, carefully hidden in the ceiling to avoid distraction—much like the discreetly placed air-conditioning vents. Even the decorative lighting fixtures and custom doors function as works of art.
In the main living areas, crisp white walls provide a clean, neutral backdrop that lets the artwork shine. Elements like dark brown baseboards and large-format tile flooring with soft gray veining break up the space and add visual interest.

Natural materials were prioritized in the bathrooms. A slate floating vanity and a shower with textured gray tile, ledgestone and river rock define the primary suite, while walnut cabinetry warms the secondary bath and complements its flagstone-look shower tile.
A seamless aesthetic is consistent throughout, most notably in the expansive kitchens. Rather than relying on visible hardware, the design features touch-latch, soft-close cabinetry and hidden pantry doors.
The home as a whole centers on visual impact—from spotlighting interior art to framing outdoor views from nearly every room.
