Sweet & Savory Tampa
Everglazed Donuts, which debuted at Disney Springs before opening in Sparkman Wharf, has added a drive-thru on Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood. Curry Leaves, once connected to a BP station on Kennedy Boulevard, has opened its largest brick-and-mortar location at WestShore Plaza. Annapurna Kitchen, a South Indian restaurant, is serving vegetarian and vegan dishes such as dosa, uttapam and samosas at its Sanatan Mandir Hindu Temple site. Kinjo, the highly anticipated new concept from the Michelin-starred team behind Koya, has launched a pop-up at West Platt Street and South Boulevard in the Hyde Park neighborhood until its permanent location is complete.

The Tide Pool Exhibit

Florida Aquarium Unveils New Exhibit
The Florida Aquarium has debuted The Tide Pool, a 60-foot-long, 4,000-gallon cold-water touch habitat — one of the only exhibits of its kind on Florida’s west coast. The interactive habitat allows guests to connect with more than 200 marine invertebrates, including 121 sea stars, 92 anemones, and 21 crustaceans and snails. Built in six massive segments, the exhibit features cascading water and lifelike rock formations designed to mirror the animals’ natural environment.

Hyde Park Village Welcomes Two New Concepts
Shore, a Florida-based brand known for its effortless coastal style, is bringing its “barefoot luxury” vibe to Hyde Park with a pop-up featuring a selection of apparel for both women and men. While the shop is there temporarily — for now — another new arrival is here to stay. Everything But Water has launched its new concept, Beach by Everything But Water, to bring shoppers a refined, vacation-ready selection of swimsuits, resort wear and accessories.

What’s Brewing in St. Pete
Southern Grounds and Co., a Jacksonville-based coffeehouse franchise, has expanded to St. Petersburg with a 2,430-square-foot hybrid concept combining a tapas bar, restaurant and coffee shop on Central Avenue. Florida-inspired murals by local artist Matt Kress set the backdrop for a menu spanning breakfast, lunch, dessert and plenty of espresso drinks. Further north, Mazzaro’s Italian Market debuted Zagara Gelato, which offers traditional Sicilian gelato, refreshing granitas and soft Sicilian-style brioche beside the city’s beloved Italian marketplace.

Namaste in St. Pete
Locally owned FireFlow, a hot yoga and sculpt studio, has opened a 2,500-square-foot boutique space on 9th Street North in St. Petersburg. The studio features shock-absorbing floors, infrared heating panels and a weekly schedule of 30 classes, ranging from hot yoga to fitness-based sessions held at 85 to more than 100 degrees.
