Dr. Hoyte is a world leader in the use of robotic surgery for prolapse repair and is a pioneer in the field of 3D female pelvic floor imaging.
A fellowship-trained, board certified specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), Dr. Hoyte founded The Pelvic Floor Institute (PFI), dedicated to personalized treatment of women with all types of pelvic floor disorders.
The Institute helps many women because they take the time to listen carefully to each woman’s unique symptoms in order to tailor a plan that will successfully treat their problem and allow them to live life fully again.
“We listen carefully, examine carefully, test and analyze carefully, and treat carefully,” says Dr. Hoyte. “Making use of my engineering training, we are able to design personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for our patients based on tried-and-true clinical principles, backed by the most current research. We are very excited about the fact that our evidence-based treatments, including physical therapy, Botox injections, neuromodulation, vaginal and robotic surgeries, are very effective at treating our patients with a variety of pelvic floor disorders.”
Dr. Hoyte spent much of his career educating the next generation of FPMRS surgeons. He was the Founding Director of Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at the USF Morsani College of Medicine, where he started the first board certified fellowship training program for Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in Florida, training and graduating Florida’s first generation of FPMRS specialists. At PFI, Dr. Hoyte and his team now focus on educating women about pelvic floor disorders and giving them a range of effective options for treating their pelvic floor problems. Dr. Hoyte is recognized by his peers as a world leader in utilizing robotic surgery to treat female pelvic floor disorders.
If you are suffering from pelvic prolapse, urinary incontinence, bladder and/or bowel control problems, surgical complications, or pelvic floor dysfunction, The Pelvic Floor Institute can help. “At the Pelvic Floor Institute we have a caring, accomplished, capable team devoted to delivering outstanding outcomes for our patients.”
