Bio
After a stellar collegiate baseball career at James Madison University, Rich was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2000 and enjoyed a 14-year career with a handful of teams including the Tampa Bay Rays. He holds an undergraduate degree in finance, a master’s degree in accounting and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Rich also competed on the NBC reality series American Ninja Warrior in 2014. He is now a Commercial Risk and Employee Benefits Advisor for Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners.
Philanthropic Efforts
Rich volunteers for Tampa Bay Rays Foundation activities and supports the Peter J. Mulry Foundation, St. Lawrence Parrish, the Slam Diabetes wiffleball tournament for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the Lehigh Valley Miracle League.

Spend time with my family, golf and play basketball

Be grateful for where I am, while always striving for more
Who has been your mentor or role model?
I can’t say one specific person. I am fortunate to have had a lot of people in my life who helped me become a better husband, father and professional.

Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Chris Archer. He has used his platform as an All-Star pitcher to make a difference in a lot of people’s lives.
