Watervue Grille is Harbour Island's newest eatery

Nestled on the waterfront edge of Harbour Island, Watervue Grille is the newest restaurant from restaurateur Andrew Bonnemort, who also owns the island’s Cafe Dufrain and Cry Baby Cafe. The menu focuses on fresh Florida seafood in sophisticated but approachable preparations, with much of the fish sourced locally. “It’s hard not to use local seafood when the Gulf of Mexico is in your backyard,” Bonnemort says. “There hasn’t been a restaurant downtown that focused on fresh seafood, so we wanted to fill that void.” Menu highlights include ancho chili-dusted scallops, whole fried snapper and chips, and red-chili rubbed Gulf grouper. The restaurant’s true feast for the eyes is its sweeping views of the downtown skyline from Bayshore Boulevard to Channelside, including Amalie Arena and the future Water Street Tampa.
