For every completed job, two healthy meals are donated to US Hunger. Over 3 million meals have been donated since the program launch.
College H.U.N.K.S, which stands for “Honest Uniformed Nice Knowledgeable Service,” also donates and/ or recycles over 70% of items removed for clients to organizations like Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity.
Their latest endeavor serves survivors of domestic violence, and they began offering free moves for survivors of domestic violence, which is continued every October during Domestic Violence Awareness month. Over 100 free moves for women and children who are victims of domestic violence have been completed under this initiative.
It makes sense that the company is so community-driven, as its stated purpose is to “Move the World,” not just physically, but emotionally and by making a positive impact with each client and team member interaction, and through community engagement.
