FAVORITE DATE-NIGHT DOWNTOWN: My husband, Bob, and I love to grab a bottle of wine from Duckweed and watch the sunset in the amphitheater at Curtis Hixon Park.
FAVORITE DOWNTOWN RESTAURANT: Malio’s Prime Steakhouse. Without question, the best tenderloin carpaccio in town and a stellar staff.
FAVORITE WEEKEND BRUNCH SPOT: Sono Café at the Tampa Museum of Art. The most beautiful setting to enjoy a light brunch and a mimosa… or two.
FAVORITE PLACE FOR CRAFT COCKTAIL: Anise Global Gastrobar. The El Diablo is the perfect marriage of tequila and ginger with a kick of heat from their Thai-chili simple syrup.
FAVORITE PLACE TO TAKE MY PET: The Tampa Riverwalk. My dog Osky and I spend many evenings walking along the Riverwalk taking in the beauty of Downtown Tampa and all of the hard work of Mayor Buckhorn and former Mayor Iorio.
FAVORITE LOCAL ATTRACTION: Gasparilla Music Festival. Hands down, the best weekend in Tampa! GMF is always brimming with positive energy that leaves me proud to be a downtown resident.
FAVORITE RESTAURANT ACROSS THE BAY (PINELLAS CO.): Brick & Mortar, downtown St. Petersburg. Phenomenal contemporary yet rustic food without the pretentious vibe.
